Sorry if this has been posted before, I'm just sticking it here and running out the door.

Yesterday I was in in the Celtic Whiskey Shop and they had some Porterhouse beers, O'Hara's and 4 of the Whitewater beers.

PH ones were about €1.79 I think, O'Haras was under 3quid and Whitewater were 3 on the button.

Excellent! They usec to have a great selection of beers, then stopped. Nice to hear it's back.

I asked when they'd started doing the beers and the guy said only in the last few weeks. I didn't know they did them before so they've only just re-started doing them anyway.

The prices were what blew me away! i don't really like that shop for their whiskey as it's usually overpriced but I'll definetely be picking up the beers any time I'm in town. €3 for the Whitewater brews?

i'd imagine its more a tax thing than a euro thing!!

I'd imagine it's too many men in the middle getting a cut. The whitewater beers can be had around the £1.70 mark on the other side of the border, and there's not that much difference in tax.
