Surprised Sweeneys dont have it. Made a visit on thursday and quickly realised the drinkstore was my only option when sweeneys let me down. The hophead is a true winner though, i like plain but havent had it from the bottle yet!

both have just arrived in Devenys dundrum, and both go excellently with risotto! The plain was delicious, can really taste the difference between that and the nitro version, and hophead - well it could do with a bit more hops, just like the draft version, but it'll do till hooker becomes available at home

Hmmm, my mother is coming to visit in a couple of weeks. Looks like I have something else for her to add to the list apart from Dubliner cheese and Barry's tea!

Not that I'd trust her to get the right beer...

Could just ring up an order and have your mother collect it?

Ah, she's in her 70's. I couldn't put her through the indignity of going into an off-license

Noreast Beers and the Plain 16 years 6 months ago #30

Saw this on Noreast beers website. I thought it odd that they'd be carrying the plain porter. Also no mention of the hophead.
