Yes a load of people got off the bus and walked. In the end by the time the bus got there, we noticed the people who had got off still walking in so the bus got there a little quicker but only by a few minutes. The real difference was that after 7 to 10 miles of walking, they would have been wrecked where as we were refreshed and well rested.
Great fun too, there was this drunk guy entertaining us by both walking, falling down, getting on to different buses and even falling under a bus at one point. I wonder would he even have been let in once he got to the gate as he was in such a state.
