I have found the cask version nicer, the lower carbonation really lets the styrian goldings come through

I preferred it on cask too, but I think the bottle is quite nice, maybe it just wasn't to your taste Ken, or maybe the hype raised your expectations too high <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

I was very disapointed with the bottle i bought in the drinks store. very mineraly almost sulphur. sat on top of any malt or hop flavour

Saw this on Cask in Manchester while I was over there at a wedding. It was in a pub called Sinclairs on Exchange Square. Didn't get to try it (the pub was closed, it was eight in the morning!!!), but on a plus note the hotel were the reception was had an Ale called Wadworths 6X on cask!
