Yeah, that's kinda the way i was leaning.

Not to decide what beers!

I want to include one of the cheapest nastiest ones (Hansa Pils or something from Oetinger), and something that is more classy (perhaps Pinkus Pils as it is easily available here, although it's not "true to style") along with some mainstream stuff that people drink most (as identified in a survey I did last week, which will Include Becks).

There's great interest so far!

I think leaving it totally blind is the way to go. Leave the organizer out of the tasting and just get people to rate beers that they may or may not be familiar with.

I think you could to this in a pub and I would be willing to host such a tasting in the B&C, if people are interested and the B&C are OK with it.
