ICB New Year Getogether 17 years 4 months ago #1

I mentioned to someone recently about a get together in the new year, as opposed to a xmas party, and i am looking for ideas from members.

How about if we put a few quid in the kitty, and used it for some good
finger food (some nice cheese'/meats)and had a taster of maybe 4 or 5 winter beers, over the course of a couple of hours.

With enough notice, i could probably request certain beers from our suppliers.

Maybe a date in february might be suitable?

Sounds brilliant. Can we resume our homebrew tastings on the 22nd as well?

Requests, eh? Some of the Samuel Smith stuff would be good: their Winter Welcome or Imperial Stout, maybe.

Samuel Smith barely wine and stingo?

That's it: Old Stingo is the one I've had. It's brilliant.

I managed to track down some Old Stingo last week in Belfast... tis very tasty stuff - up with the Impy Stout as my favourite Sam Smith brew. Bloody expensive though - £5.50 a pop in The Vineyard....
