But I though most people (in Ireland) like mega beers because they did not taste

fair point. If people do not spot the macro beer as having no taste then its not a good macro beer so.

I reckon oblivious is right. Mega beers, cooled to sub-zero temperatures. Doesn't matter what it is so long as it's cold 'n wet.

Oh, and hi, this is my first post. Am here as a result of sampling Irish Party Ale, and Bog Myrtle's brews, and am keep to try my hand in 2009.

One of the presenters a dedicated Miller drinker did not recognise it. Miller is really distinctive with that weird corn taste.
