Esteemed beerlovers,
This is my first post - I discovered the site about two weeks ago when researching pubs and off-licences in Dublin. Great site, happy to see such a dedicated bunch.
I've been living in Spain the last few years, and Porterhouse nostalgia made me start searching around here for craft beers, getting more interested and reading up a bit. I've found some decent places in Barcelona and its environs (I'll post in the adequate section some time in the future) and the craft revolution is coming on leaps and bounds over here, but mostly at a very low level (practically all bottled, except for CCM).
Anyway, I'm moving back to Dublin in a matter of weeks and had started nosing about on the net for places to get decent beer. I see a lot of positive comments about Galway Hooker, and having read about it in Iorwerth Griffiths' book it's number one on the list once I touch down. I haven't been in the Bull and Castle yet either (it was actually a great review of the B&C that brought me to your site), looking forward to that as well.
My first homebrew is the next priority, but I'll take it one step at a time <!-- s:-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:-) -->

Welcome aboard Hombre. No doubt we'll see you in the B&C at some stage.

Thanks folks.
I'll be making a list from Griffiths' book and hopping into the car alright.
Actually wandered into Tara's in Killaloe by mistake the Christmas before last, but other than that haven't been in anywhere else decent yet.
I'm salivating just thinking about it.
