Declan & Mark brewed a big viscous stout last February after Mark took Gold with his 'Salubrious Stout'. Half of the batch was aged on oak whiskey chips and the other half in a Northern Irish whiskey barrel.
The resulting beer is dark as the night, thick, rich and warming, with a lovely rounded oak finish. If you ask Mark nicely, he might give you a bottle or come along to our tap takeover at 57 The Headline next Thursday for a taste![/quote:2tcmj6w7]
