The app does NOT behave well on my phone.

Might have been in Coppers last night with the author. He's been on the radio a few times today, dunno if he said 90 or 19 places live in Dublin already.

Just speculating here, but I'd guess you'd enter the brewery name, ABV, et al of whatever was in the cellar into some kind of app before the pubs opens each night.

Apex[/url:1y0yszkq] in Portland pours 50 draught beers, seats probably 300 people, and maintains a live list so I can't see why this would be a problem for any Dublin pub, if they had the right system in place.

Not convinced by real time updating beer menus. I was in The Pony Bar in New York which had a very impressive looking real time list on screens behind the bar. However when I ordered, my first two picks were already off. Great in theory, but in a busy bar the staff have to make time to update it, not always possible.

I also worry that one of these days my phone battery will run out and I suddenly will no longer be able know what's on the menu, pay for a beer or get a taxi home <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->

A great system would work with a USB-based barcode reader and you could just scan a beer barcode and have it pull all this up for you.
