I'm here now and can tell you that as far as Alvor is concerned, there are two beers available, Sagres and Super Bock. Occasional Guinness, Erdinger, Carona, Bud, Heineken, Carlsberg, etc. But not a hope of anything interesting. The good news however is that the weather and beaches are so nice that you won't care, pale lager it is!

I got married in Alvor <!-- s:-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:-) --> good memories very beautiful place. The local wines are excellent. Make sure you eat in Tosca Moranis in the centre of the village doesn't look much but the monkfish cataplana is outstanding. There is a craft beer festival in albufeira starting on the 26th of June which would suggest there may be some available there. Alvor is a good beer wilderness. The bus to albufeira runs regularly.
