TOPIC:

I went last year and didn't enjoy it all that much (apart from chatting some decent people!). It got seriously packed and became hard to get around the place though there was some nice enough food available. I wondered what the ticket price was for as I thought it a bit steep. After a while, I made a retreat and spent the rest of the evening sitting up at the bar in the Bull & Castle. I probably should have done that to begin with!

I only went to the first one they did and it was for charity so I did not mind the ticket price.

I can imagine it getting mental though.

As it stands now, I will not be going, that said, I do find it very encouraging that when you look at the beer list by country, Ireland has the biggest number of beers at 35 <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Is there any Beoir official presence at all?

Now that everyone has been scared away from a festival that appears to have a great line-up of beer and food...

This is the last event I'm going to make for a while as I'm leaving Sunday morning to Seattle, Portland, and then Chicago for 2 weeks and probably won't have any beer ready by the Sept. meet up.

Craft Beer+Festival (with food); there's nothing more I need to know.

Who's actually going? -If you're actually going; book those tickets ahead of time per the Devney's FB page!

(Richard are you able to escape your paternal duties for this one? Rueben, are you going?)
