Meant to reply to this topic ages ago. Went there on the Sunday. thanks for the warnings about the pothole, thankfully I did not fall into it!!!! Nice festival, all breweries who were at the Franciacan Well a week earlier were there with the exception of Hilden plus Breweyed were there as well.
Nice to have met the guy from Breweyed, a truly local brewery just serving its home town and hoping to expand from there. Nice pale ale as well.
Venue would not be as big as Franciscan Well by any means nor were the attendance. I thought the tokens were a little pricey, 2.50 a half pint and 5 for a pint and also 5 euros for a very poor snackbox - three slithers of chicken and few large chips.
Great to meet some of the brewers again, strange two week-ends in a row but had a very good time all the same. Popped into the Salthouse for a night cap on the way home.
I am sure the festival will remain a fixture over the coming years.
