Must say really enjoyed last night. The head was a little bleary this morning but all in a good cause!!!! Nice to put faces to the names. Took a whilw to get used to Rebel being Brian etc.!!! Noby (Cormac) was volunteered to do a review of the night so we will await same. Thanks Rebel for arranging the meet. Also a big thank you to Dave for his hospitality, food, liquer (I think!!) from Slovakia etc. Lots of good exchaanges of opinions and nice to wake up in the morning with two nice bottles of beer to sample from the night before. Look forward to trying Rebel's homebrew and look forward to having oconn (Brian's) 9% Leffe. I brought MM Porter which we sampled and some of the guys brought home as well. Paul also brought a super ale and great also to have Peter from the Franciscan as well. Although the only non-brewer there I did not feel out of my depth. Thanks too to ICB, if not for this site the meet would never have happened!

i was delighted to host the historic night as rebel described it last night.
all the members seemed to enjoy the night.
was only thinking some one should have taken a few pics.
wel surely plan another night soon and next time il have some staff to cover me. (lost 2 staff last week)
few sore heads this morning no doubt but all for a good cause

Yes, I was 'volunteered' alright. I'll try and stick something together over the weekend, but first I'd like to thank Dave for his generosity, and hospitality. It's a fine pub, and one I'll make sure to visit again when I'm in Cork.

great night....great beers..really good to taste Nobys SNPA clone shows how bad kits are really ..fair play to Dave for his hospitality and willingness to bring in beers etc....I look forward to the next epsiode
