I just realized that my wife has been asked to entertain a visiting scientist tomorrow night over dinner, so as I'll be thus entertaining a 3 year old over dinner, I'll be unable to attend the get together. My regards to all, and I hope you have a great evening!

My wife and I are figuring about 6 PM. If earlier is convenient, we can adjust our plans, as long as we get a little advance notice. Being telephone-less here is equally liberating and frustrating.

Turns out I'm double booked and dinner with wife's parents trumps beers with people you know from the internet, apparently.

Do you think you'll be there all night or will you be heading off at a civilised time? I should be able to come along late.
