didn't Messers have their stout (or was it porter?) on cask at one point? I think I may have tasted it at Farmleigh

Yeah, all of the MM specials are served on cask. Just not in MM. The porter was on cask at Hilden. Extra and Imperial were both on cask at the Great British Beer Festival, as were O'Hara's stout, O'Hara's red, Shandon stout, Rebel red, Purgatory, Porterhouse Plain and Galway Hooker.

Can we please the mocking on this one to a minimun, and instead consider our overseas visitors who will actually get what they expected---- green beer [/quote:2x1qzf31]Ya know, several people in my office have commented about green beer on St. Patrick's day, and I told them no, the Irish don't actually do that, it's the Americans. What do I tell them now that my favourite drinking hole is also doing it?
