I think I'm about done with Nelson. It's just too harsh and catty for my taste.

I'm afraid any of the citric hops are big favourites with me.

I loved the Imperial Stout, Dunkelweizen and American Amber. And I really wish I come come up with a pale ale as good as the ones on show last night...

Top quality beers last night.

I quite liked some of the spiced ones: Shiny's Winter Ale and Partridge's Porter had lots going on. On the hoppy side, Cahalbrua' AIPA and TBN's Nelson-fest were lovely.

Sorry i missed The Dungarvan Coffee & Oatmeal, Keeganales's dunkelweizen and Shiny's imperial stout were excellant.

Had a great night - great crowd at it - The Dunkel was superb - well done Richard - should be interesting to see how it fares in the competition.

The standard is getting really high on the beer - great beers all round.
