I find your lack of faith, disturbing.

Grabbed the wrong beer from the fridge, turns out it was a mint stout, not an amber ale. Just in case anyone didn't notice.

I only caught the tail end of this, but I thought Shiny's imperial stout was superb. Can we have the recipe?

I will a couple of bottles again in the January or February meet after it has aged a bit more.

I'll have to make sure to make it to these two meets! I'm free wednesdays going forward. So hopefully won't be missing any future meet ups.

I missed the beer but enjoyed the banter! I heard everyone had a good showing and that the standard was high, I'd argue mainly due to me not bringing a beer <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Great showing last night, pretty much every beer was decent.

Highlights included:

Brian's Mint Stout : Don't think I could get through a whole batch of it but I might add some mint to a few bottles of my upcoming stout batch. Would be good with a nice chocolaty dessert.

Nigel's Calypso Pale Ale: First time trying this hop, got a great pineapple aroma off it, definitely going to consider using it in the future.

Jacob's Milk Stout and Pale Ale: Really liked the milk stout and enjoyed the pale ale apart from the slight waxyness I got off it. Nice idea though, definitely worth a go.

Will's Dubbel: Delicious.
