Only a small gathering tonight but some outstanding beers:

Cathal's 3 were all gold medal

Jacobs was brilliantly hopped!

Nigels Imperial red was double gold! (Meadacolada was amazingly complex - maybe a new herbal narcotic/cold cure/pain killer - amazing!!)

And BTW, when Thomas says "This wit maybe infected", then its a case of !!ALARM, ALARM, DIVE, DIVE, DIVE!! to the Das Boot scenario!! He was not joking!!

I'm sure I posted this in events, did it get moved?

Anyway even though there was only 6 of us with Thomas and Goeff having a few samples, it was a great night.

Nigel's house ipa was great and even better was his imperial red.
Jacob's 105 ibu nelson ipa was beautiful.
Ronan's stout (first AG) excellent.
Lived cathal's dunkel.

Only Thomas let us down with a beer infected with almost everything short of Ebolai and the jury is still out on that one.
