Beerhouse was really good and the tuesday prices are unmatched, nice we had the whole back area to ourselves. Alfie brynes would also be good as we could also have it in the sun.

Off that week so either is good for me.

Beer house gets my vote too.

Now should I risk bringing beer?

I mentioned it on the night- Alfie Byrnes and The Headline would also love to host future IBC meets...[/quote:qdbtjpb5]

Spoke with Geoff at the Headline and he'd love to host it sometime in the future, just got to let him know.

Beerhouse (albeit a fantastic pub) for me is like the Headline for Brian, bit of a trek to get back to public transport (while the Headline has a bus stop from door to door basically)
Alfies might be a happy medium, short walk to Pearse street, Green Luas and most city centre based bus routes.

could also take a leaf out of Capital's book after WJK's closed for some time and have 'Gypsy Meetups' - change the venue every month -One little advantage/oppertunity is (As a consumer group than a H/Brew club like Capital) we could even have a small "what did everyone think of <insert venue here>" section and do a mini review of the place to put up on the website and get something going - just an idea to throw into the mix. . - Worth even discussing at the next meetup where ever we land.

Also, Sweetman's is quite central, would they have us?

I doubt there'd be a problem with any of those venues. Anyone else got a preference between JWS and Alfie's?
