I enjoyed John's bog juice and Ronan's red(ish) ale. And of course everything Nigel brought along!

Nigel's DIPA was definitely spot on. If only there was some way of getting a much bigger batch of something very similar...

I really liked Brian's ginger and chilli beer too.

Carbonation or the lack of let that beer down.

I was a bit late but I think I managed to try nearly all the tasters. Nigel's was good but as he pointed out, a little green. Ronan's Red was interesting; a lot more flavour than I'd expect from the style. Brian's ginger ale wasn't overly sweet like most of it's ilk and I liked it for that. Séan's porter was very smooth with a nice toasty aftertaste. John's peated ale did exactly what it said on the tin, lots of peat, kinda reminded me of Lapraoig. And Reubens IPA was full on hoppy. Again, just what I like from the style.

Just cracked a bottle if the DIPA and it's gully carbonated and so good. Trust me to pick to the one under carbonated bottle to bring along. Anyhow. Cheers.
