What did you think of it? I wasn't mad on it, was a bit lacking in body, but it was nice at least to have the option of craft beer at a festival. Porterhouse Plain and Red were the other options. Half pints would have been a nice option also given the numbers that would have had to drive to the festival (given the bus strike on Sunday and Monday).

DOI: my mates organised the festival, hope you enjoyed it, I thought it was great myself.

On a related note, was in the 12 pins in Barna, Galway this evening and they had their own label stout on. They were saying that it was made for them by Beamish. Anybody come across this before?

They were pretty keen to say it was from Cork and when pushed said Beamish

The Beamish brewery closed a couple years ago. I'd say it was just rebadged Beamish, brewed by Heineken.

Yeah was thinking along those lines, pity to see the rebadged macro stuff being passed off as the pubs own but at least it shows some kind of awareness
