Cheers. Surprised to hear Clanconnel sold up, I would have thought they would be pretty successful given their beers are fairly widely available in shops. With the size of the Muckish bottles, it makes sense that they are brewed in Mitchelstown....pity they wouldn't ask their neighbours Kinnegar.

An update from Twitter - Northbound (Derry) tell me

"Just got the commercial brewery sorted. From 'Freedom Brewery' in England. Arrives in July. 2500 litre brewhouse"

"Commercially, it could be August" (when they expect their beers to be available..)

Red James Brewing from Wexford say they should be operational by the summer

Discovered this beer last night in the Millenium Forum in Derry. It's replaced a Carlsberg tap from what I remember. Tastes ok, nice Cascade hop flavour to it but I think the lager behind it isn't the best. Apparently being brewed near Belfast airport but there's very little online about them so it may be contracted somewhere else.
