Fullers ESB yup lovely drink. Even I can taste why this won awards. Must resupply soon....... very soon!

I have to find the London Porter somewhere but my chances of that in the wild west are somewhat limited.

Got two bottles of London Porter Friday evening in Abbot. Came home and had one follwoed by a bottle of MM Porter. Found both execptionally good. Glad to have tried London Porter and will be a fan of same from now on!

Incidentally, as always, picked up a few more whilst there!!!! Picked up two slighlt out of date (Dec 07) Augustiner Edelstoff Export, 50cl 5.6 at 2 euro a go., also a bottle of Brooklyn Lager (NY) and two bottles of Karmeliet Tripel, an 8% abbey beer 33 cl btl. It looks very good. Have not tried it yet or heard of it before but will saample soon. Selection not as good aas sometimes but this offlicence always comes up with some gems,

What did you think of the Karmeliet. I think it's a fantastic beer - my favourite Tripel.

Plysu - yes Bradleys on north main street have always got a pretty good selection too. One of the best I think. You are talking about St Peter's brewery beers. They have a full selection of same, old style porter and the like -about five or six types in all I think. The old style porter is very nice. Definitely worth trying!

Wobbler - yes Karmeliet is superb. So good I will do a separate thread!
