Those are two very valid points Andrew and Billy. I probably should have specified, this image was just a first draft prototype from our graphic designer with the intention of highlighting how the labels would look on a bottle of beer. It is not an official poster as the official poster will contain real Baile Brew beers. We would love feedback from you guys on the labels on how best to present the Baile Brew range.

Who are you? Why are you making beer? What's missing from Irish Craft brewing that you and only you deliver?

And...

Who are you trying to sell this beer to?

Get your answers down on paper and into your heads and you're going a way to getting your image established. This stuff is important.

If you're generic on the outside, it doesn't matter how good the beer in the bottle is. You'll loose the trendy kids to Brewdog, the craft beer enthusiasts to the guys who are doing innovative fun new brews, etc etc...

Not sure the stage you folks are at with recipe formation etc, but I hope that the trio of brews you're launching with have enough about them to differentiate themselves from the others out there on the market.

The Irish micro scene is growing for sure, however in my view we're already closing in on saturation point of red ales and run-of-the-mill pales using conservative hop profiles. This isn't meant as a criticism, but if your brews are put onto a bar next to say Metalman Pale Ale or Galway Hooker then what would make anyone choose yours? I'm not sure if (again in my opinion) the current level of branding is strong enough to compete with that of the other brewers, so either a change in that area could be necessary, OR an assurance that your range will do something extraordinary.

Really appreciate that you guys are actively searching for feedback from your target market; in my view, I think the main thing you should be doing is ensuring that your beers stand out taste-wise for the right reasons by providing something different to what's already on the market. I feel we're at the stage where a new brewery with a line of three samey-samey brews could be forgotten within a few months.

I agree with everything you have said and I would hope that we can try to introduce craft beers to a wide audience and hopefully bring more and more people into the change. We hope to challenge the norm and have some great feedback about the brand but I listen to everyone and that's what matters. We hope we can have some fun with this and that's why we are different from rest. If not in our initial safer brews then perhaps in our approach.
Thanks
