A smooth red brewed by Tennents (now owned by Bulmers) Glasgow[/url:3uymh9c2]. Not surprised to hear it's bland considering it's pedigree.

I actually quite like this stuff.

They have it in my local in Tyrrelstown and it's very like a real ale I find.

Pretty standard stuff in UK pubs, and it's not craft but it's better than the standard diageo offerings in my book when there's nowt else there this would be one I'd pick.

That said I don't tend to be into the chewy beers a lot of you guys like.

Managed to get a free pint of this- it wasn't bad. It wasn't as nearly as offensive as Smithwicks Pale Ale. It is very reminiscent of Kilkenny and Caffreys Irish.

I got a pint in the turks head (it was the only thing resembling ale there) and I thought it was fine. A bit bland but not undrinkable by any stretch of the imagination.
