Delighted to have discovered the world of decent beers. For years I drank wine at family get togethers and parties because the "beers" were crap. The proliferation of Bud and Heineken bored me to tears. I was in NYC in 2010 and found Goose Island on tap, I was also reintroduced to Brooklyn which I hadn't drank in about 10 years. A friend of mine has a couple of bars there and he refuses to allow any Lite Beer inside the door.
I used to buy 3 Monts, Goudale and Jenlain on my regular jaunts to France, alas Messrs Cowen and Lenihan and their generosity to the banks put paid to that. So until my boat comes back in I will have to suffer on with O'Hara's, Dungarvan, 8 Degrees, etc etc.
