Happened to find myself in Supervalu, Aston Quay, the other evening. Good beer selection and some surprising new additions to the 75cl range they carry of Leffe/Duvel/Chimay/La Trappe. These were as follows: Fin du Monde (9%), Trois Pistoles (9%), Maudite (8%) and Blanche de Bruxelles (4.5%).The first three come from Canada, brewed and bottled by Unibroue in Chambly, Quebec. The last one is a wit beer from Brouerie Lefebvre in Brussels.
The Canadian ones are priced at €5.99 and the Belgian at €4.99. Excellent prices, I think, considering the alc content, but what are the beers like? Will buy some next time I'm passing as can't go wrong at that price!
