The cost of doing business still applies though. The cost of raw materials is quite highly taxed in those countries, as is the cost of overheads (rent, leccy, water etc.). Wages will be much higher too, and I'd imagine the cost of transport also.
A bottle of Nogne O that costs €7 here would cost €9 in Oslo, so I reckon that the Norwegian sin tax on beer amounts to most of that €2. But the high prices on everything else lead to the rest of the high price.
Your grumbling about paying so much for a bottle of Nogne O Imperial stout tends to end shortly after the first sip though.
