Four Seasons in one shop 18 years 6 months ago #1

found myself in carrickmacross with work last week so headed to the nearest sainsbury in armagh to stock up on some ales. had my eye on the harviestoun try'd and tested (exclusive to sainsbury) but when i got there they seemed to have every seasonal beer from the last year! So there was Shepherd Neames Early Bird, Bateman's Spring Breeze, Wychwood's Whyte Wych (summer ale) Wychwood Pumpking (for now) and Harviestoun's Haggis Hunter Ale which is brewed for drinking in January. Granted the spring beers have a short best by date but don't think that's going to be a problem!
Bit scarlet going up with 40 bottles in my trolley but needs must... it was such a treat having access to the seasonals but think the armagh shop mustn't do a great trade in them.
Also got some Clotworthy Dobbin and Belfast Ale from Whitewater.

My parents live three miles from that shop and I've never been in.

The only way to makes matters worse would be to throw a packet of nappies on top of the beer and when you get to check out pretend you are just short of money and then stick the nappies back on the shelf.

Well, I was buying them for myself, but I managed. One does.

Is that the time?
