That's some beer. Would be perfect for a parti-gyle. I did one a while back and ended up with a great barleywine and a lovely ipa. Will bring some to the b&c in a few months. Lol, also had to use blowoff tube with it and was fermenting just 20l in 33l bucket ...

FG 1.020 (OG 1.082) giving me 8.2%

Oh and I did make a 10L small beer from the second runnings <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Anyone care to speculate why they were so far off OG? I've tried a few high grav beers lately (not this one) and always come up short, well short.

With this one I doubt I'd do better than 1.090.
