TOPIC:

Dropped in last night. Had a 'Burger n Bun'- a beer created by Mikkeller for an America burger chain. It's a hopped lager, so like a light APA. A nice citrus hit and well balanced.

Then myself and Partridge were treated to a Nogne IPA (thanks AtG) which I have now added to my top ten IPA list. The bottle says it is hopped with North America Hops but neither of us could put our finger on what actual hop(s).

Finally had a Galway Bay Stormy Port, which to me seemed a little light at the start, possibly because of the 2 beers preceeding it but it really opened up about half way down. Lot's of nice toasty flavours. I thought for years that I didn't like porters/stouts; turned out what I didn't like was Guinness.

Finally, AtG are doing Meet The Brewer nights every Friday, I've put the details in the Events.
