Anderson Valley. BEST STOUT EVER. 14 years 5 months ago #1

I am currently living in Luxembourg and got this in a beer specialist shop. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it is the best stout I have evr tried. Even before you drink it the smell is just beautiful. If it is available in Ireland get on it NOW.

Yeah, it's available here. It's one of the very few oatmeal stouts I've really enjoyed.

You don't like Broughton's "Scottish Oatmeal Stout"?


I'm sad I didn't try the Anderson Valley stout now! -I had the option of the Amber or the Stout and it was summer so I went for the amber. (It wasn't anything to write home about.)

I have had this stout and agree it is good,pinhead oatmeal is used in it.

Interesting you said that, because Anderson Valley was one of the few north-american craft breweries exporting to Brazil. I once bought a cart full of Anderson Valley Oatmeal Stout which were on sale (for about 1,20 euro a bottle). Very good stout indeed - not really sure if it is my favourite, but one of them, yes...
