We've done kegs for a few parties, with people approaching us informally.

The problem isn't so much with the kegs but, as mentioned above, it's the paraphernalia to get the beer from keg to glass, i.e. the serving gas, the chiller and tap etc.

What started me thinking is my brothers 21st coming up and it would be nice to have Irish craft produce at it rather than foreign company produce (O'Donnels crisps and Dips, local meat for BBQ, Craft Beer.etc.) The paraphernalia I could organise myself, was wondering if it was possible to get just the kegs.
