Just wondered if anyone had any tips or updates on great beer deals.

The longest running bargain of 2010 for me was Tesco selling Duvel for a measly €2. Alas, sometime around the new year the price went to €2.50 and I just can't rip through them like before as it does add up. Leffe blonde still stands around €1.80 with occassional deals for a 4 pack for €5 (again, this is just at Tesco).

It also seems Lidl has a regular stock of Shepherd Neame beers at the €2 mark, a great way to mark a sunny day with one of their hoppy creations (Spitfire, Bishops Finger in particular). I used to think this was an seasonal deal but everytime I go there they seem to be in stock.

Anyone care to share their secret deals?

When it's on, the Superquinn 6 for €12 is great. Adnams innovation ftw <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Probably the best of them all is Any 6 for €12 in Superquinn. Covers a wide selection of decent beer, both domestic and foreign.

Especially relevant now since Tesco jacked up the price of London Pride by 25% to €2.50.

Bought 4 of the O'Haras range in Joyces in Galway yesterday for €10, I was very happy with that!

Drinkstore has the same deal on Carlow beers as well as Sierra Nevada.

The cheaper Goose Island and Flying Dog beers too. All the Dungarvan beers.

A number of the beers around the €3 mark are 4 for €10...
