I sent them a mail saying I enjoyed their beer in Ballyshannon, a few weeks back and suggested they submitted more info to ICB for inclusion in the ICB listings.

Got a short Thank-you back but no info.

Did anyone at ICB hear from them?

Well if it says it in Wikipedia...

I was under the impression that it did not. It is possible that my information is out of date though.

As to the brewery, I'll believe it when I see it.

Nope. I thought the section on Arainn Mór in Iorwerth's (I know I spelt it wrong!) book on brewing in Ireland was interesting. He had it that they were in startup mode, and the next step was to set up a visitors centre on the Island, and eventually a brewery. The cynical might say that this is just a way of getting grant aid (as the visitors centre would come before the brewery), but it will certainly be interesting to see how the brews would taste after the brewing process has migrated from it's native Belgium.

I'd imagine that "Brewed in the EU" won't be disappearing from the labels.

It sounds a bit like the Montieth's model in NZ, whereby a tiny amount is brewed at the visitors centre out in the sticks, but most of the same stuff is also produced up at the parent company's industrial plant near the population centres.
