Ok, I'll bite, what does clove have to do with a toothache?
-I never get a toothache from Thanksgiving or Christmas ham.... (Please tell me ham is normally seasoned with clove here, too otherwise this statement is just weird.)

I think the idea is that jamming one in/near an aching tooth goes some way to relieving the pain. Same is apparently true for whiskey.
I have never tried either.

(and yes, ham is seasoned with cloves here too )

Well, I have had a toothache for a LONG time and I've been pretty much surviving on Sensodyne so I'll give some clove a try! (If only I could get Phuca in bottle! -I could just brush my teeth with it! )

Forget about your toothaches guys!!!!

I quite like the Phuca this year Maybe a bit lighter but quite tasty all the same. Christmas pudidng in a glass I would call it. And as i said in s different post one should definitely order it one drink ahead as having it too cold is not the business. I imaagine if it was given more time to settle before being released it might be better but we can't have it every way!!!!

I was only in for a quick pint, with the family, so couldn't order a pint ahead. Might be tempted to give it another go, but don't like Christmas pudding, and don't think I like those flavours in beer, so maybe I will just confirm that it's not for me.

Cheers,
Billy.
