Ooooh, a second reason to visit Athens, GA! Excellent

Beer is a far more acceptable reason to travel 4000 miles than some band, right? Right??

Definetely Microgirl. Though both reasons combined make a better case to travel all those miles... So which one is it, REM, B-52 or Widespread Panic?

While in Athens, try to visit the legendary 40 Watt Club. I went there, saw a few bands playing and had a few bottles of Sierra Nevada but do not ask for a glass, all you´ll get is a plastic one. (Ahh, no sign of Mr. Stipe there...)

6% ABV is not uncommon for America brown and amber ale, but obviously
state to state can affect this

Now, one of those bands is legendary, one of the most consistently hugely popular and critically acclaimed bands of the last nigh-on 30 years, with a fanbase spanning the globe and more rabid than many. The other two....aren't

Although, y'know, REM aren't bad either

Yeah, 40-Watt Club. S'gotta be done

And there might have been more chance of spotting yon diminunitive frontman had he not been in Co. Westmeath recording the new album at the time
