That said, I don't know [i:3lu9xztj]why[/i:3lu9xztj] the OP is requesting draught. Lots of Irish microbrewed beers are much better bottled than on draught. That's the curse of nitrogenation for yeh.

I only discovered it recently. Seems like a great little pub. The first day I was in the barman asked me "what colour label?" when I asked for an O'Hara's IPA but he didn't have to ask next time I went in. Hurrah! Definitely going to be dropping in there regularly in future, especially when meeting friends instead of trying to drag them to the Bull&Castle or somewhere else with craft beers.

yes and one thing I like is they always have the good beers in the fridge and on the shelf. Plenty of them I prefer at room temp, such as fullers ESB.

yes! even though he didn't seem too familiar with the beers he asked if I wanted it at room temp or from the fridge.

That's a proper Irish tradition that is: off the shelf or from the cooler. And it's always "cooler", I'm guessing because it pre-dates the domestic fridge.
