A couple of years ago a local grocer (about like Tesco) has a policy that if you found an item that rang up different from the price on the shelf, they'd give it to you for free (and send a clerk scrambling to correct the problem before they gave away too many more. I brought a case of O'Hara's to the checkout, and it rang up wrong. They said they could not give to me free because of some silly law. didn't like my suggestion that they could sell me the case for $0.01, or even a penny per bottle. At least I ended up paying the lower, correct price.
