So my other halfs family are from Cognac and have about 200 acres of vinyards which make and supply Hennessy with Eau de vie, which is what brandy is made from, great you might think!, well it would be if I likes Brandy, which I dont! but anyway, hennessy gave them a case of a new beer. Its a blend of beer and Brandy. She brought a couple of bottles home for me to try and I must say it is the most perculiar tasting drink ever, not to my taste at all.

Had anyone come across this before, I have a bottle that I can bring to the tastung next week if anyone wants to try it

Becuase of Ryanairs silly baggage policy, my girlfriend could only bring home 2 330ml bottles as she opted to use the rest of her allowance on wine (which im not complaining about) so I only have 1 bottle left but will defo bring it next week, we can all have a sip <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

The french appear to be really into blend beer and spirits.

Why not do some collaboration with brewers using their barrels
