Since getting interested in craft beer I've tried a good few of the more commonly available craft beers, and a number of not so commonly available ones. What I'm now wondering is which beers should I absolutely not be missing, and should I be going out of my way to track down? I don't mean ones that are going to be impossible to track down, but ones which are relatively widely available and worth picking up/trying if I spot them around.

The two I've come across so far which I'd be saying to people that they definitely shouldn't miss, and which shouldn't be too hard to track down (although I know that most everyone on here will have tried them [i:3dkq8pv1]loads[/i:3dkq8pv1] of times before) are Brooklyn Lager and Galway Hooker. What would you add to that list?

For me it would be:

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Spitfire - Shepeard Neame
Badger - Golden Champion Premium Ale
Anchor Steam Beer

However like yourself I am relatively new to craft beer appreciation <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: --> and so I am sure that there is an infinite list of beers that I should try.

In addition, these widely available good beer:

To me, "widely available" means I've seen them outside of Drinkstore and Sweeneys.
