Bells Expedition Stout 18 years 9 months ago #7

Got the Expedition Stout from batch #7817 from a good beer store in Michigan. If you will be at the ICB tasting on the 19th of July then I can hand it off to you then-if not, then we will have to find another way to get it to you since I am in Dublin without a car.

I got to try that beer on Friday. Words fail me. Like nothing I've tasted. Thanks so much.

Happy to hear that you enjoyed the stout from Bells. They make some nice beers I think, but I havent tried the expedition before.
I am looking forward to the ales that you gave to me-am I supposed to let them age for a bit or can I crack them open? Have you had them before?

Both beers apparently have great aging potential but I've never bothered. They both taste great young anyway. Enjoy.

Speaking of aging potential, my girlfriend brought a few strong beers from New York recently. They include
DogFish Heads Raison d'Extra and World Wide Stout at a whopping 18% each! These could age for decades!!
She also got me an Arrogant Bastard ale. I've been waiting for this beer for quite some time.....

If anyone is going to New York or has a very patient and understanding friend that is, then I should suggest this beer shop. It was voted amoung the top 5 in the States last year.
