Actually the link I posted that had the original info did specify the County, I should have made it clearer in my post here <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Spa had nought, only a bar man who's ditched Heinekan for hooker!
County bar had the big feck off hooker tap(the one with the big hooker font and the european tap!)
They also have the hooker glass that's pinched in the middle.
They have both O'Hara's on draught and curim in the bottle, it was great to see more O'hara's being sold than Guinness! the barman told me it was because of peoples preference, but can't help but feel the 3.50 pint has something to do with it!
aparently the owner isn't the biggest fan of the you know who brewery, and is trying to build relationships with the smaller guys! he's been trying to organise something with the Well too, and I told him to contact white gypsy while he's at it!!

all looks good for the future, but the bar wasn't exactly jammers!

I dunno if I approve of this boom in craft brewing that seems to stem from bar owners sick of writing cheques to Diageo. But it's all cashflow to the good guys, right?

I think its great, hopefully wake people up to good beer. Excites me the fact the county are looking at smaller brewers...It could be my new local!!:-)

I agree. If publicans are selling a product for the wrong reason ie, to p**s off the big boys, they will fail to see the right way to promote craft beers.

That cannot be a good thing.

In the County for the match on Sunday, Hooker now €3.60, Curim was €3.35 but seems to have been taken off due to inconsistancy, think O'Hara's is still €3.50
