Going for 44 for a case in my local Odd Bins. Thats nearly half price a bottle. I'm not sure what the general consensus is on this beer but that's great news for me.

A case is a very broad term, it could be anything from 6 bottles to 60 so how many are in the case? Is it a 24 pack for €44?

According to their site it's 20 to a crate but that could be just for the European market. Although if it did come in a crate like that the crate itself would be a very handy thing to have.

Well, Ireland is in Europe <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

The standard crate size for 500ml German bottled beers is 20. I won't tell you how much I'd pay for a crate here <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Oh, and yes, it's a classic beer. Been ages since I had one. Will have to pick some up for winter.

20 bottles per case it is. Just a plain old cardboard box i'm afraid
