I missed that last night ,

Would've loved it .

I had pint of this on Fridiay night and really did not know wha to make of it. Thought it tasted very weak, definitely nice and warm and if no other speclal beers around this weekend might have had a couple more. Will hopefully be able to try it again sometime.

BTW I heard the cask was gone by late Saturday night so must be doing something right!

I may have had something to do with that. It was way too easy to drink. I popped in on my way from the well to a gig and I also tried Black beard stout from white gypsy. I didnt think that was as good as the Shandon but it was on nitro and incredibly smooth. I then popped back after the gig for a few more. I liked it.

They were also selling stein's for about 5 or 6 euro(can't recall). The stein was actually a 2 pint glass! huge thing. Everyone seemed to be drinking from them.

Damn it I vaguely remember someone (probably you) mentioning it to me at Hilden.

I either put it on my list to try and never got around to it, or I tried it and forgot all about it <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
