Hi all,
Just a note to say there is now some fresh Porterhouse Plain available. Just got a fresh load in, new packaging looks good ,and it has the 'grenade' ring pull . Also it is on promo up on drinkstore website with the 10% off Irish products (it is now only €1.89)

does the plain have the ridiculous thumb mark thing on it to drink it from the bottle?

What Porterhouse have put on their bottle is a very incorrect marketing tag! I'm talking about their bottled IPA Hophead. It proudly states on the back of the bottle that it is the only IPA produced in Ireland (or something along those lines). I almost choked on their response to the demand in the market courtesy of Galway Hooker!

a shame the bottles are only longnecks

I wouldn't call either of them IPA's. To me, they're APA's that are made in Ireland.

.....Catchy marketing...that'll pull in the punters!
