Thanks Ger, I'm looking forward to it. I hope to take in the Well, Bierhaus and am looking forward to my first visit to Abbot's Ale house!

The draught selectIoN in the Abbots has not been grEat of late. Bottle selection is very good and of course if there is any bottle you like in the off licence downatairs you can ask for it in the bar as well at bar prices of course but still at fair price I think - of course before 10 p.m. as the off licence has to close then.

Enjoy!

I am back from a very nice two night break by the Lee. The beer component of the visit was top notch; among the highlights were;
A nice quite Saturday evening pint of Blarney Blonde in the Mutton Lane Inn to escape the shops,
A visit to the Franciscan Well, where I intended to sample several brews, but could not stop drinking the Boh (unfiltered Bohemian pilsner) which was lip-smackingly good!
A few Saturday night beers in the Abbot's Alehouse (what a fantastic atmospheric place!) where I sampled two brews from White Gypsy Templemore.
A few quite Sunday evening pints of Galway Hooker in the Bierhaus.
And I dropped by Bradley's as well as suggested. And all of the above are within easy walking distance of each other.
