I've had a commercial gluten free beer and it was quite nice. Sporgham (sp) rice, buckwheat and millit I believe.

Well, that pretty much puts an end to my interest in making one. It'd cost a bomb, not to mention how much effort is required for such little gain. Gimme gluten any day of the week!
