Would anyone be interested in participating in a "pot luck" rare beer tasting? (Everyone brings in a couple of rare beers and then everyone gets a taste.)
-I don't think that this sort of event would "scale" very well, so I think it will need to be limited to a small number of people; I haven't thought through any logistics at this point, I'm just interested to see if there would be any interest at this point.
I've got "Mikkeller Black Hole", "Great Divide Yeti Barrel Aged Imperial Stout" (bottle #50 & #51), Avery Samael & Avery the Beast (2007), and I'll probably be coming back from Belgium in 2 weeks with some Westvlettern. (As much as I tried the Hop 15, Alaskan Smoked Porter, and Odell Woodcut didn't make it..) Almost forgot, by the end of June I'll also have a bottle of 3 Floyd's Dark Lord Imperial Stout. (2009) -My wife's uncle is on a softball team with Nick Floyd.
